This October, a series of gala events will allow the public to take a glimpse inside the fairytale world of Princess Grace of Monaco. From October 15-26, 2007, experience a series of glamorous events at selected venues throughout New York City, where you can discover the rich culture and noble traditions of the “jewel of the Riviera,” and the arts that Princess Grace did so much to support.

– Grace, Princess of Monaco: A Tribute Exhibit, October 15-25. An exhibit held by renowned auctioneers Sotheby’s, in association with the Princely Palace of Monaco, will highlight Princess Grace as wife, mother and humanitarian through a collection of photographs and personal belongings.

– Casino Night to Benefit the Princess Grace Foundation USA, October 24. Invite-only VIPs will be treated to a benefit auction of Princess Grace-inspired dresses designed by Carolina Herrera, Vera Wang, Ralph Richie and others, as Sotheby’s is transformed into a grand casino overnight. Make sure to catch your chance to see the dresses in the window displays at Saks Fifth Avenue during the week.

– The Annual Princess Grace Awards Gala, October 25. For the twenty-fifth anniversary of this star-studded awards ceremony, grants will be bestowed on aspiring young American theater, dance and film artists; this year’s event will feature an exclusive auction conducted by Sotheby’s to benefit the Princess Grace Foundation-USA.

Making Music in Monaco, October 15-26. A special two-week edition of this show on
New York’s classical music station, WQXR 96.3-FM, highlighting Her numerous ties to Monaco’s cultural and art scene, and featuring interviews with Princess Grace’s friends, music by Her favorite musicians and a selection of her poetry readings, as well as a chance to win a trip to Monaco.

– Culinary Week at Saks Fifth Avenue, October 21-26. Saks Fifth Avenue will come alive with Monagasque-inspired menus in three restaurants.
