These images were created to simply Buzz Aldrin’s vision for getting the human race back into space—specifically, to Mars. Aldrin proposes that we leave development of the moon to international and commercial concerns, and focus United States resources on landing a man on Mars. His multi-level Unified Space Vision puts us there by 2035.
These images, which I designed and wrote for Aldrin, are meant to simplify his plan into one cohesive image. They have been presented to President Barack Obama and at the National Space Society’s International Space Development Conference in Chicago, among many other places.
Aldrin’s plan, thanks in part to my work, has now been adopted as ongoing policy by the world’s top nine spacefaring nations.
The image below is the simplified version of Aldrin’s plan. It was sent out to an audience of about 2 million viewers when Aldrin, Howard Bloom and Robert Zubrin appeared on Coast to Coast AM. See the image and listen to the show here.

The second image is the full, multi-level plan as presented to President Obama and the 2010 ISDC.
